The 8W Portable USB Soldering Iron T2699A operates directly off a USB power supply. It’s ideal for occasional soldering jobs, such as replacing a device’s battery or fixing a dry joint in an audio cable.
The built-in switch in the handle and automatic sleep mode ensures safe operation.
Includes stand and USB lead. It requires 1.4A output from the USB port, and a USB 3.1 port is recommended (it can also be powered by a high-current USB battery bank for added portability).
Please note: The auto shut-off feature may not function with some USB chargers. Your USB port/charger must be capable of supplying a minimum of 1.5A. If you are using a USB port on your computer or laptop, it will need to be a USB 3.0 port with battery charging capability.
Note: When operating, don’t unscrew the lid. The lid must be pulled off; otherwise, it won’t heat up.
