Q & A
GY-BME280 I2C Temperature Humidity Pressure is a precision sensor soldered onto a PCB. It measures not only pressure and temperature but also humidity.

So, with an I2C connection, you will have to access enough weather data to make some pretty good predictions for your local area.

You can also use the Pressure Sensor Board Module, which can discern the difference in 7.5cm in altitude.

Specifications:
  • Operating voltage: 1.8 to 5v
  • Interface: I2C (up to 3.4MHz)
  • Pressure ranges: 300-1100 hPa (equivalent to + 9000 …- 500 m above / below sea level)
  • Pressure: +-1Pa
  • Relative accuracy: ± 18 hPa (equivalent to ± 1 m 950 ~ 1050hPa @ 25 ° C)
  • Absolute precision type: ± 1 hPa (950 … 1050 hPa, 0 ~+ 40 ° C)
  • Humidity: +-3%
  • SDO LOW: 0x76
  • SDO HIGH: 0x77
