This infrared reversing radar features a simple circuit structure, low cost, and stable operation, and is widely used in various ranging applications.
The circuit uses infrared-emitting and receiving tubes as the core components, along with the NE555 and the operational amplifier LM324. The NE555 forms a multi-resonant oscillator to emit infrared signals, while the LM324 primarily amplifies the received infrared signal and serves as a voltage comparator. The LED indicates the range of reversing distance.
