Q & A
Mega2560 board, almost the same usage and performance as the Arduino Mega2560, but with some differences in the power circuit to ensure the power. Based on the ATmega2560, the M ega2560 has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analogue inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
With more IOs and larger flash than the Uno SD or ATmega 328, the Mega2560 would be helpful in applications that need more IOs or larger flash, such as in 3D printer projects. It also comes with a Micro  USB wire to enable you to start the project once you get it in hand.

(Please note that the higher the input voltage the lower the outgoing current). That will provide a reliable power source for most of your initial projects.

Features:
  • 100% compatible with Arduino Mega
  • 54 Digital IO
  • 16 Analog inputs
  • 14 PWM outputs
  • 4 Hardware serial ports (UART)
  • USB-UART CH340G
  • Compatible with most Arduino Duemilanove and Diecimila Shields
  • ICSP Header
  • Can be powered through a battery or through an AC to DC adaptor
