LiPo Battery 802540 (3.7V 600mAh) High Discharge Polymer Lithium Ion These Cells are Designed with 25C discharge. This makes them appropriate for R.C. cars, planes, drones, Helicopters, Quadcopters, etc.
High Discharge Battery is designed to supply a continuous discharge rate of 25C over a brief time; this is why they are great for R.C. cars, planes, and drones, Where Normal Lipo supplies current over days to months at 1C or less.
Model series Info 802540 8.5= Thickness, 25= Width, 41 = length + or -3%
Lithium-ion polymer (also known as ‘lipo’) batteries are thin, light and powerful. The output ranges from 4.2V when ultimately charged to 3.7V. This battery has a capacity of 600Ah for about 2.22Wh. If you need a larger (or smaller!) battery, we have an extensive range of Lithium-ion polymer batteries.
Protection circuitry keeps the battery voltage from going too high (over-charging) or low over-discharge, which means the battery will cut out when utterly dead at 2.75V. It will also protect against output shorts. Even with this protection, it is essential that you only use a LiPo constant-voltage/current charger to recharge them at a rate of 0.5C or 1C.
Tempero Systems suggests charging at 0.5C or even less for a longer Life.
High Discharge Battery comes pre-attached with a Molex 51005 2-pin connector with 2.0mm spacing and includes the necessary protection circuitry.
Note: Please check your current cable orientation, as there is no Industry Standard for Cable setup. Wrong orientation can damage the cell and your item.
If it does not match, it is easy to alternate the connector orientation. Just use a Plastic Pry Tool or similar to press down on the small latch securing each crimp socket in the housing and swap them. Ensure they do NOT touch each other!

The approximate charging time
- When the charging current is less than 5% of the battery capacity: charging time(H)= Battery capacity(MAH)×1.6÷Charging current(M.A.)
- When the charging current is more significant than 5% but less than 10% of the battery capacity: charging time(H)= Battery capacity(MAH)×1.5÷Charging current(M.A.)
- When the charging current is more significant than 10% but less than 15% of the battery capacity: charging time(H)= Battery capacity(MAH)×1.3÷Charging current(M.A.)
- When the charging current is more significant than 15% but less than 20% of the battery capacity: charging time(H)= Battery capacity(MAH)×1.2÷Charging current(M.A.)
- When the charging current is more significant than 20% of the battery capacity: charging time(H)= Battery capacity(MAH)×1.1÷Charging current(M.A.)
Usage & Precaution:
Lithium-ion and lithium polymer cells are effective batteries, and YOU must take extreme care. Using them may get hot, explode or ignite and cause serious injury if exposed to abusive conditions. Unfortunately, we can not replace batteries damaged by non-compliant chargers or equipment.
Be sure to follow the safety warnings listed below:
Do not
- Overcharge: Ensure the charger voltage does not exceed the battery series full charge voltage.
- Over-discharge: Ensure the equipment you use this battery will not draw more current from that battery than the stated “Maximum Continuous Discharge Current.”
- leave batteries discharged for an extended period can incur irreversible damage
- by placing the battery on fire, heating, or direct sunlight to the battery.
- Install the battery backwards so the polarity is reversed.
- Connect the battery’s positive and negative terminal with any metal object,
- expose the battery to water or saltwater, or let the battery get wet.
- Disassemble or modify the battery. The battery contains safety and protection devices.
Additional safety notes: Do not use a NiMH/NiCad/lead-acid charger! Also, Never charge or use unattended. Always inspect batteries and surrounding circuitry constantly for any damage, loose wiring, or the possibility of short circuits. As with all Lithium-ion polymer batteries and any power source – they should be used by experts who are comfortable working with power supplies.
