The Mega 2560 R3 ATmega2560-16AU is a microcontroller board based on an ATmega2560 AVR microcontroller.
It has 70 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs and 16 can be used as analogue inputs), a 16 MHz resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an in-circuit system programming (ICSP) header, and a reset button.
Mega 2560 contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; to get started, connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery.
