Cjmcc-8118 IS a gas sensor system-on-chip (SSoC) + temperature and humidity sensor that uses low-power sensing technology to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) indoors. The onboard CCS811 structure of the CJMCU8118 is not a single sensor, but an integrated MCU enables the on-board processing capability.

CCS811 Carbon Monoxide Sensor CCS811 Carbon Monoxide Sensor is an ultra-low-power digital gas sensor that integrates a sensor and a CCS801-bit MCU with an analogue-digital converter (ADC) for detecting indoor air quality, including carbon monoxide (CO) and a wide range of Volatile Organic compounds (VOCs).
Features
  • Ultra-low power consumption can be used in battery-powered equipment
  • High sensitivity, fast heating
  • An intelligent algorithm calculates TVOC / eCO2 values.
  • I2C signal output, direct communication with the main system
  • Metal oxide (MOX) sensors to monitor indoor air quality
  • An 8-bit MCU is integrated to perform the ‘first-level algorithm
  • Integrated 12-bit ADC built-in for sensor readings and digitized conversions
  • I2C slave interface can be connected directly to the master control system
  • Reset / interrupt control
  • Supply Voltage: 1.8V to 3.3V
  • Operating Temperature -40°C to 125°C
  • Operating Current 30mA
  • Power Consumption 60mW
  • The current in sleep mode is 100nA
  • Colour: purple
  • PCB Size 1.5cmx2.1cm

Notes:

1. Pull-up resistors for I2C SCK and I2C SDA assumed will be part of the host system
2. you can use AUX Pin on CCS811 for optional ambient temperature sensing; if not used, leave it unconnected.
